Identity the RFID card

Only the RFID card match the card database info in the flash/server ,the driven can start the vehicle. Otherwise, the vehicle cannot be stared.

The card database info can be config via GPRS command/SMS

1. How RFID Works With Our Tracker STT-600

     STT-600 have 2 serial port ,can connect with RFID reader and get the data

from RFID reader. The data from RFID reader will be  compared with the

driver info which stored in database. Once the card info can match the driver

info which stored in datebased,STT-600 will connect the reply.Otherwise,STT-600 will disconnect the relay.

        The database of driver can be stored in flash of the STT-600 or AVL

server. The database of driver can also be reset by SMS/GPRS.

        Following picture show how the STT-600 with RFID reader works.

2．Connection  

        There are 4 cable on the RFID reader, the red, the black ,the yellow and the green one.

      The yellow cable is the RXD of serial RS232 port.

      The green cable is TXD of serial RS232 port.

      The red cable is the input voltage of RFID reader , which is 5V.

      The black cable is the ground of RFID reader

   Following is connector of STT-600:

Connect the yellow  cable of RFID reader to pin 2

Connect the green cable of RFID reader to pin 5.

Connect the red cable with Power

Connect the black cable with GND

1. Example

In the GPRS communication protocol, we use command 1001 to get data from  RFID reader.
